POP: Songs About Life + Technology

POP is a one-man show that uses the sound and spectacle of pop music as a vehicle to pose questions about what it means to be human in the 21st Century. Cutting across genres and blurring the line between live and prerecorded elements, composer and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Watts takes the audience on a ride that's both funny and sincere.

POP was premiered at St. Lawrence University in 2016, and the show continues to grow and evolve. A fully-staged version and lightly-staged, abridged version of the show are available for performance.

You can see and hear excerpts from a performance on the Watch and Listen pages.

"What a pointed, amusing, polished show you gave us last night. It was terrific in every way."

"The more I laughed, the more sad I felt, somehow."

"Thank you for a great performance with such great insight."

"I think this was the can't-miss event of the semester."
