ALL OF IT

All of It is a collection of five songs that deal with taking stock. Looking forward and especially looking back. These songs are different in style, but share musical ideas, metaphors and themes.
It’s also a collection that shows some of my influences clearly. “Don’t Be Afraid” is sort of a battle between the late 80s and early 90s, maybe Duran Duran vs Duncan Sheik. “A Letter” is more in the gap between Gin Blossoms and The Cardigans, with Prince’s NPG lurking in the chorus and taking over the bridge.. “Searching for The Cure” is a tribute to all things Robert Smith. “Starts to Fade” is Tears For Fears meets Sting’s early solo career (Kenny Kirkland is definitely lingering around in there). “All I Want” sounds more like The Cars.
